How to Make “Super Smooth” Flan with HIGHPLUS Milk

Flan is a dessert that has a relatively complex recipe but is loved by many children because of its smooth, soft texture and not-too-sweet taste. Especially, adding formula milk to the flan mixture helps children absorb nutrients better.

1. Ingredients for Flan with Highplus Milk:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 300ml Highplus milk
  • 10g tapioca starch
  • 30g granulated sugar or powdered sugar
  • Flan molds

2. Instructions for Making Flan with Highplus Milk:

  • Beat the egg yolks with sugar and tapioca starch, then sift the mixture to remove any lumps. Note: Make sure no bubbles form.
  • Gradually pour 300ml of Highplus formula milk into the mixture, stirring continuously to combine.
  • Sift the mixture twice. Pour the sifted mixture into each flan mold (about ⅔ full), then steam at 160°C for 40 minutes.
  • After the flan is cooked, remove it from the steamer and let it cool. Cover and store in the refrigerator.
